Ralph Firley

Please take a moment for Don Knotts, aka Ralph Firley, aka Barney Fife. He passed on the other day, and I had to mention something about it. As a longtime Three's Company fan, I loved me some Mr. Firley. You could always count on some good times when Mr. F moseyed (and YES, he definitely moseyed) through Jack, Chrissy, and Janet's arched Santa Monica apartment doorway. And who knew what random level of freak out he'd get with any hijinks that went down at the Regal Beagle? I have no doubt he's looking down on all of us, sitting in a bamboo lounge chair, donning a rust colored leisure suit with matching neck scarf, while Jack is tripping over his own bell bottom pant leg in the background.

Rest well, dear friend. Rest well....

I always thought they were in San Diego, maybe because of the Zoo...

L.A. does have a zoo...contrary to popular belief, this city is not TOTALLY devoid of culture. :)
